"Used and Abused" by Andrew Thiele

On this night I got the chance to check out Andrew Thiele first solo art show called "Used and Abused" which took place at One Art Space in Tribeca. The show Featured 20 never before seen art pieces.  The best way to describe the show was pretty much a tribute to New York.  What made it interesting was the incorpation of obscure objects like wood andconstuction metal along with various paint textures. Probably one of the few pieces that stood out the most to me were the subway canvas pieces which included mini abstract pictures painted onto mosaic tiles like the ones you see in the subway . It turned out to be a pretty dope show and great turnout. Congrats to Andrew Thiele on his first, looking foward to many more.
